Mass Gathering Permit Information

At least 45 days prior to the planned gathering, the Mass Gathering Permit Application must be received and filed at the Office of the County Judge, 220 S. Pierce, Burnet, TX 78611. The Mass Gathering Application Packet may be downloaded below. The Mass Gathering Permit process is governed by Texas Health and Safety Code Section 751.007.

Not later than the 10th day before the event, for which the application is filed, the County Judge shall hold a hearing to determine whether the Mass Gathering Permit Application shall be granted. Applications may be denied for any of the reasons enumerated in Section 751.007 of the Texas Health and Safety Code.

All written correspondence regarding this application, shall be sent by U.S. Postal Service to the address provided by the promoter on this application. The promoter or property owner may request, in writing, another method of correspondence.
